I'm posting this in general because this is intended to spread awareness, I've already emailed rappelz gold bugs with an in-depth bug report.Over the past couple months a friend and I have noticed that the timers on jeweled weapons count down much faster than they should, at seemingly random speeds.After much observation and testing (and about 75 million rupees ) I have come to the conclusion that logging out with a jeweled weapon equipped will cause the time remaining to count down extremely fast.So this is to inform everyone that if you use jeweled weapons, remember to unequip them before you log off!
My friend, an evoker with dual axes, noticed her main-hand axe seemed to count down about a third faster than her off-hand axe and its jewel expired after just 2 weeks after she enchanted it.Lately we started testing to find out if there was a way to save our timers and not lose so much time, we found that only equipped weapons seem to suffer this problem.I jeweled two R5 daggers at the exact same time, I had one equipped and one unequipped. After I logged off for 12 hours the unequipped dagger counted down by 12 hours, however the equipped dagger counted down by over 20 hours! I tried another 12 hours logged out with both unequipped and they both counted down by 12 hours. Yesterday I forgot to unequip my dagger and now its timer counted down by nearly 60 hours!
